Teeth in a Day: Leave With a Full Smile the Same Day You Get Implants

If missing or failing teeth have kept you from smiling with confidence, you do not have to wait months to see results. With our Teeth in a Day program, Dr. Laya Gholami places your implants and attaches a full set of temporary teeth in the same visit. You walk out with a functional, natural-looking smile while your final custom restoration is being made.

01. What Is Teeth in a Day?

Teeth in a Day is an immediate-load implant technique. Instead of waiting three to six months between implant placement and getting new teeth, we attach a temporary bridge or crown to your implants on the same day as surgery. This is possible because modern implants can often support light chewing forces right away, as long as they are placed with enough stability and the right bite is planned in advance.

This approach works well for patients missing a single tooth, several teeth, or a full arch. For full-arch cases, Teeth in a Day is frequently combined with our All-on-4 treatment, using four to six strategically placed implants to support an entire arch of new teeth in one appointment.

Is Teeth in a Day Right for You?

Not every patient qualifies for same-day teeth. Your candidacy depends on how much healthy bone you have, the position of your implants, and your bite. During your consultation and CT scan, Dr. Gholami will confirm whether same-day loading is safe for your specific case, or recommend the traditional timeline if that gives you a better long-term result.

02. Your Teeth in a Day Process at Riverwalk Dental

Step 1. Consultation and CT Imaging

We start with a full exam and a cone beam CT scan to evaluate your bone density and plan implant placement. We review your health history, discuss sedation options, and confirm whether you are a candidate for same-day teeth.

Step 2. Implant Placement and Same-Day Temporary Teeth

Dr. Gholami places your implants under local anesthesia or sedation. Once the implants are secure, we attach a custom temporary bridge or crown before you leave the office. You walk out with a full, functional smile on the same day.

Step 3. Healing and Your Final Restoration

Over the next three to six months, your implants fuse with the jawbone through a process called osseointegration. Once healing is complete, we replace your temporary teeth with a final, custom-crafted restoration designed to match your natural smile.
