What is Clear Correct?

Clear Correct is a system of orthodontics that uses clear aligner trays to correct the alignment of your teeth. The system is nearly invisible to the naked eye, and the clear aligner trays are comfortable to wear. The trays can be removed while brushing and flossing teeth, providing a more superior clean when compared to other orthodontic options. Clear Correct delivers results quicker than other systems available to patients.

Why is Clear Correct needed?

You may need Clear Correct because your teeth are crooked, crowded or have spaces or gaps between them. The system works by providing gentle, yet effective pressure to the teeth. This pushes them into place so that they look more evenly aligned. You may even be considering Clear Correct if you have an over bite, under bite or open bite.

What makes you a candidate for Clear Correct?

Clear Correct relies on you wearing the aligner trays for most of the day and night. Because of this, the system may not be suitable for children who are prone to removing appliances and forgetting to put them back in. However, Clear Correct is ideal for teens and adults wanting an alternative to metal braces. Prior to having Clear Correct treatment administered, you’ll need a consultation, exam and series of x-rays.

What can be expected with Clear Correct treatment?

The first step to starting Clear Correct treatment is having a consultation and exam. This allows us to create a personalized treatment plan for your orthodontic care. From there, impressions are taken and used to make perfectly-fitting aligner trays that you’ll be instructed to wear for at least 22 hours each day. You’ll need to come back into the office every few weeks to have new trays made for you as treatment progresses. You can expect to begin seeing results after just a few months and depending on how much your teeth need to be corrected, you can be out of your Clear Correct trays in as little as six months to a year.
